PURPOSE: To bend a synthetic resin panel without generating breakage, cracking or opacification by supplying hot air to the parts to be bent of the synthetic resin panel when the synthetic resin panel is bent at a plurality of places by both rollers to bend the central part of the synthetic resin panel at first and subsequently bending the parts to be bent on both sides thereof in succession.

CONSTITUTION: One roller S of a bending apparatus is fixed to a main shaft R to feed a synthetic resin panel and the other roller Q thereof is provided to a main shaft P in a freely rotatable manner and consists of a central rotary part M and the hot air guides G provided on both shides thereof. A hole is formed to the main shaft P in the axial direction thereof as a hot air carrying pipe K and through-holes 5 are bored in the region where the roller Q is attached of the shaft P to be allowed to coincide with the fan-shaped notches 4 continued to the axial holes 3 of the hot air guides G. The hot air passing through the hot air pipe K is sprayed on the synthetic resin panel W from the through-holes 5 through the hot air guides G. In a bending process, the synthetic resin panel is bent downwardly at the central part thereof at first and, in the next process, the panel is bent upwardly on both sides of the central bent part and further bent downwardly on both sides of the upwardly bent parts.
