This apparatus for biodegradable sheet production has a feed apparatus 4 for sending a sheet 1 wound on a feeding bobbin 26, a water impregnation apparatus 2 for impregnating the sheet 1 with a proper amount of water W, a slip mixing and filling in apparatus 3 for immersing the sheet 1 impregnated with water W in the biodegradable slip S and impregnating the sheet with the slip, a surface finishing apparatus 39 for scraping the sheet 1 filled with the slip S and finishing the surface of the sheet to form a biodegradable sheet 1S, a drying apparatus 6 for drying the biodegradable sheet 1S and a winding apparatus 7 for winding up the dried biodegradable sheet 1S.
