PURPOSE: To easily take off stacks of pieces after cutting works by providing cutting, bundling and taking off means respectively provided with prescribed constitutions.

CONSTITUTION: A cutting means 19 which is provided with a cutting tool 20 reciprocating on the axis of the tool and, for example, mounted on X and Y carriages 24 and 32, and movable in the two-dimensional manner, cut stacks 13 such as pattern pieces P1, P2 out of layout L of a sheet material extended on a support surface 14. The part of the layups L of the sheet material constituting no pattern piece P is generally cut and disposed as a waste S. Similarly, a bundling means 21 which is mounted on the X and Y carriages and movable in the two-dimensional manner inserts a fastener such as a plastic fastener 50 in a hole of the layups L to bundle each stack of the pattern piece P. The take-off means 140 holds the fastener, and picks up the bundled stack, and takes it off and transfer it to a conveyor, etc. Every operation of each means can be controlled by a controller 40.
