Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging method which suppresses the variation of intercell charged states when a secondary battery composed of a plurality of cells is charged.
SOLUTION: In a charging method for charging of a secondary battery composed of a plurality of cells C1-Cn which is performed by decreasing its charging current by stages according to the progress of the charging, i.e., by multistage constant-current charge, the charging current I is decreased by a current value ΔIs which accords to the difference between a cell voltage lower than a specified voltage value and having the maximum cell voltage value and a charging target cell voltage, every time the voltage of an arbitrary cell which comprises the secondary battery reaches the charging target voltage.
