To enable contamination on an internal face of a partition member to be reliably removed and prevent contamination from transferring to an end rim of a plate-like body at the time of use by bringing one or more rotating cleaning rotary plates provided on a lower part of a carrier of a partition member into slide contact with the internal face of the partition member.
A pressing carrier 6 provided on a transfer means 3 of a partition member 1 transfers partition members 1 one by one toward a cleaning part 7 while it is loosely fitted in the partition member 1 extended over a transfer rail 2 of the partition member 1 by operation of a transfer cylinder 4 while a lift cylinder 5 is lowering. The cleaning part 7 is equipped with a cleaning tank 9 positioned on a downstream of the transfer rail 2 of the partition member 1 so that lower parts of one or more cleaning rotary plates 8 are always soaked in cleaning liquid in a vertical state immediately below the transfer rail 2 of the partition member 1. The cleaning rotary plate 8 is rotated by a driving motor 11 to remove contamination attaching to an internal face of the partition member 1 in slide contact with the internal face.
