To provide a method for coating application of glaze which enables anyone to easily, exactly and stably apply the glaze for beading to prescribed positions and an apparatus for coating application of the glaze.

The method for coating application of the glaze is provided with a process step of applying the glaze to the peripheral edge of the opening of a material to be coated with the glaze provided with at least a material body section having the opening of an approximately circular shape above an approximately flat bottom, in which rollers with their bottom ends held immersed into the glaze are rotationally driven to stick and feed the glaze to the roller surfaces and a shaft member having an adsorption member at one end of a shaft body is adsorbed to the bottom of the material body section through the adsorption member and is fitted to the material body section so as to approximately align the central axis of the shaft body to the central line of the opening of the material body section. The peripheral edge of the opening of the material body section is received atop the rollers in the state of freely rotationally movably and pivotally supporting at least the adsorption member segment around the central axis of the shaft body, and while the material to be coated with the glaze is driven by the rotational driving of the rollers, the glaze sticking to the roller surfaces is applied to the peripheral edge of the opening.
