PURPOSE: To simply prepare nitrogen-concentrated and carbon dioxide-enriched gas in low cost by supplying air and carbon dioxide-containing gas to one gas separation membrane.
CONSTITUTION: A nitrogen concentrating and carbon dioxide enriching apparatus has a module having a gas separation membrane 2 capable of more transmitting oxygen as compared with nitrogen, the air supply means 7 connected to the module 1 on the primary side thereof and the carbon dioxide-containing gas generating source 11 connected to the module 1 on the secondary side thereof. In order to prepare nitrogen conc. and carbon dioxide enriched gas using the aforementioned apparatus, air is supplied to the module 1 on one side thereof from the air supply means 7 and carbon dioxide-containing gas is supplied to the module 1 on the other side thereof from the carbon dioxide-containing gas supply generating source 11 and the nitrogen-concentrated and carbon dioxide-enriched gas is obtained from a gas lead-out port 4.
