Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for air conditioning utilizing air capable of remarkably reducing energy consumption per year.
CONSTITUTION: A pre-compressor 2 driven by a motor 1, a 2-stage compressor 3 driven by an expansion turbine 4, an ambient air heat exchanger 5 and an effective heat exchanger for air conditioning of a room 8 to be air conditioned are connected together by pipings 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 28. In the cooling operation, air reaches the turbine 4 via the compressor 2, the 2-stage compressor 3, the level of ambient heat exchanger 5 and a heat recovery device 6, and is made to be at a low temperature with a released pressure and undergoes a heat exchange with the air in the chamber 8 at the heat exchanger 7 to cool the room. A chilled drain generated in the heat exchanger 7 is re-used in the heat recovery device 6. In the heating operation, the air passes through the compressors 2 and 3, the ambient heat exchanger 5, a bypass pipe 31 and a pipe 13 and radiates heat at the effective heat exchanger 7 to heat the room 8. Furthermore, the air reaches the turbine 4 via a bypass pipe 22 to be made at a low temperature being expanded, and is released into the outside air through a release pipe 26. Lack of air is compensated by taking in through a fresh air intake port 29. Three-way valves 23 and 24 are provided in this apparatus.
