PURPOSE: To reduce the consumption of energy, by arranging a plurality of roller dies in series in which rolling rolls with groove not driven are combined in two stages with the shaft orthogonally and drawing wires through capstans having faster circumferential speed than the wire speed.
CONSTITUTION: Two sets of roller dies 5 and 5' for thick wire in which two sets of rolling rolls are combined with orthogonal shafts and three sets of roller dies 6 for thin wire are arranged in series and they are fitted to a machine main body. A capstan which is driven in slightly faster speed than the line speed with a driving device is provided between the roller dies 5 and 6. The thick wire roller dies 5 and 5' reduce and process one wire respectively, and one set of the thin wire roller die 6 can process two wires. The capstan 3 has a width which can wind two path lines. A raw material 1 passes through the roller die 5 and is drawn after being wound on the capstan by 1W2 turns and repeats to be entered to the next roller die, and the area is being reduced continuously and sequentially and the wire is wound through a round hole die 2.
