A thermal decomposition tube 5, which is induction heated with an induction coil 6, is connected to the delivery end of an extrusion cylinder 1 having a built-in screw 2. A raw material fed to the extrusion cylinder 1 is kneaded and melted therein and then is continuously introduced into the thermal decomposition tube 5 to be thermally decomposed at a high temp. By limiting the functions of a screw extruder consisting of an extrusion cylinder 1 and a screw 2 to plasticization and melting only, the durability and safeness of the apparatus are improved and the treating capacity is increased.
