Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for controlling a continuous unloader capable of avoiding overloading of a drive.
The continuous unloader scrapes a load from a heap of loads by use of a scraping part provided below an elevator portion 3, as the elevator portion 3 is put into motion, the elevator portion 3 being supported at its top by a balancing boom 2 and held in an upstanding condition. The magnitude of resistance which the scraping part receives from the heap of loads is detected from the deflection of the elevator portion 3 and the loaded condition of the drive is determined from the magnitude of the resistance.
