Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method and apparatus for controlling, checking or inspecting continuously conveyed printed products.
CONSTITUTION: Printed products 1.1 to 1.n conveyed continuously on a support are scanned by at least two conductors 10.1, 10.2 of an open circuit 10 having a voltage source 11, and if a scanning point is metal, the circuit closes, where current runs. This method and apparatus can be used to control or check, particularly, the printed product stapled by a metallic staple 2.1 to 2.n and conveyed on a saddle-shaped support.
