Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless DC motor controlling apparatus which surely starts a motor even if a load torque at the start of the motor is unknown and achieves high efficiency, low vibration and a high speed start-up property of the motor. SOLUTION: A rotor position is fixed at the start of the motor. Since the motor is commutated by using an energizing pattern so as to increase a motor output torque at the start of the motor, and an inverter output voltage is controlled, the motor is quickly switched to sensor-less driving, started and controlled.
