Abstract:

To provide a method and apparatus for controlling power system stabilization, capable of starting the system stabilization apparatus at accurate timing by preliminarily calculating a control amount for transient stability keeping measure, based on the accurate failure mode and an abnormal electrical quantity in actual failures.

In the power system stabilization control method, an optimum transient stability keeping measure can be performed, by taking a failure detection amount preset for various failure modes assumed by a protective relay device 10A for removing failure and a preset failure removable point (cut off point) into a preliminary calculation routine performed by a system stabilization controller 10B for tabulation. So, preliminary calculation is performed, based on the accurate detected electrical quantity and failure removal points at failure. Further, even with respect to the startup of the system stabilization controller 10B, control for an accurate timing can be made by kicking a startup signal of the protection relay device 10A.
