Abstract:
PURPOSE: To damp flow pulsation by providing an auxiliary compression volume rapidly discharged to each cylinder and slowly refilled from the high pressure side on an auxiliary compression connecting portion.
CONSTITUTION: A chamber 7 having a predetermined volume is arranged in an auxiliary compression connecting portion 6. The chamber 7 is connected to the high pressure side via a duct 9 having a sectional area less than the connecting portion 6 toward the low pressure side i.e., the respective cylinders to be filled. The connecting portion has a size for rapidly discharging the auxiliary compressed liquid volume to the cylinders. Each cylinder port 4 is positioned in a recess 5, preferably in a radial outer port wall of a valve disc 1. The ports of the connecting portion 6 are exposed. Two or more circumferentially separated recess parts 5', 5" of the cylinder port recess 5 are provided. The last recess part 5' has a elongated shape rearward of the port 4.
