PURPOSE: To execute the dehydration treatment of garbage, etc. economically and easily, by pressing and dehydrating garbage dust, etc. which are exhausted from a home, by a piston operated by the hydraulic pressure of city water.

CONSTITUTION: A dehydrating cage 12 is placed on the upper part of a cylindrical body 1, a hydraulic machine 8 operated by the hydraulic pressure of city water is installed to the lower part, and a piston lever 11 of the hydraulic machine 8 is fixed to a pressing plate 15 of the bottom plate of the dehydrating cage 12. A cover plate 4 of the cylindrical body 1 is removed, kitchen dust 31 is put into the dehydrating cage 12, and the cover plate 4 is hooked and blocked up by a hook 6. A change-over valve 20 provided on the lower part of the cylinderical body 1 is changed over by operating a handle 21, a city water pipe 22 is connected to a filling pipe 23, and a side-channel pipe 24 is connected to a drain pipe 25. City water goes into the lower part of a cylinder, depresses a piston 10 of the cylinder 9, and the piston lever 11 pushes up the pressing plate 15 of the dehydrating cage 12. The garbage 31 is compressed between the pressing plate 15 and the upper cover 4, water content is displaced through small holes 16 which are provided on a barrel part 13 and the pressing plate 15 of the dehydrating cage 12, and it is discharged and drained from a drain pipe 3.
