Abstract:
To deposit a veneer 1 without moving it horizontally when it falls.
By a signal detected by a detector 27 when the veneer 1 is conveyed and reaches a deposition stand, the veneer 1 is removed from the nails 7 of a belt 9 which have been stuck by the descent of a bar 15 by the actuation of both air cylinders 17. At the same time, a belt 19 for regulation is brought down to one side on the lower side in the conveyance direction of the veneer 1 by the descent of the belt 19 by the actuation of a cylinder 23 while being pressed from above, and the veneer 1 is deposited on the group 25 of the deposited veneers.
