Abstract:

PURPOSE: To measure angular speed and deflection angle information of an object to be measured highly accurately by operating an average value of outputs from a rate sensor, i.e., angular speed signals, subtracting the average value thus operated from an output value to produce angular speed information, and then integrating the angular speed information.
CONSTITUTION: The deflection angle detecting apparatus comprises a rate sensor 1 and a signal processing circuit 2 comprising a subtraction processing circuit 3, an average processing circuit 4, and a leak type integrating circuit 5. The rate sensor 1 outputs a signal proportional to the input angular speed and the average processing circuit 4 accumulates the outputted angular speed signals for a predetermined time and calculates an average value thereof. An operational processing circuit 3 subtracts the average value calculated through the average processing circuit 4 from an angular speed signal and outputs an angular speed signal from which zero point drift and the like are removed. The leak type integrating circuit 5 subjects the averaged angular speed signals to integration thus determining a deflection angle.
