To provide a liquid level detection method in a liquid dispenser apparatus which is simple in structure and control.
A liquid dispenser apparatus has a cylindrical nozzle 1 having a liquid suction discharge opening 1c at a lower end, a nozzle-driving device 2 moving the nozzle 1 up and down, a pressure-supplying device 3 supplying a positive and a negative pressures into the nozzle 1, and a conduit 4 connecting the nozzle 1 with the pressure-supplying device 3. When the nozzle 1 descends to a liquid level in the apparatus, a difference between a pressure in the nozzle 1 and conduit 4 communicating with the nozzle 1 and an atmospheric pressure is detected. If the differential pressure is larger than a predetermined value, it is detected that the liquid suction discharge opening 1c of the nozzle 1 reaches the liquid level.
