Abstract:

To provide a method and an apparatus for die-quenching an aluminum alloy material, which contribute to high strengthening of the aluminum alloy material, a reduction in the number of man-hours, and shortening of manufacturing time.

A method for die-quenching an aluminum alloy material comprises: a solution treatment step of keeping an aluminum alloy material within a solution treatment temperature range by heating the aluminum alloy material; a die quenching step of die-quenching the aluminum alloy material kept within the solution treatment temperature range by the solution treatment step; and an artificial ageing treatment step of applying artificial ageing treatment to the aluminum alloy material die-quenched in the die quenching step.
