To efficiently discharge large agglomerates out of a fluidized-bed apparatus which is used for treating (cooling, drying, heating, sorting, or treating in combination of these treatment) a granular material containing large agglomerates.
This fluidized-bed apparatus comprises wind boxes 32, 34 in a lower part of the inside of a main body 48 and a fluidized-bed 12 formed above the wind boxes through a gas dispersion plate 10. The main body has an object material change inlet 28 in one end for introducing granules containing large agglomerates, a treated material discharging outlet 14 formed in the other end, and gas discharging outlets 36, 38 for discharging a waste gas containing fine powder in the upper part and the treated material discharging outlet 14 is connected with a treated material discharging chute 16. In this case, the treated material discharging chute 16 is so divided by a partitioning wall 50 as to form a large agglomerate discharging chute 44 in the gas dispersing plate side and a grain discharging chute 46 in the main body end part side and a fluidizing gas jetting nozzle 42 is installed in a side part of the large agglomerate discharging chute 44 to make it easy to introduce and drop granules in the upper part of the large agglomerate discharging chute 44 to the inside of the large agglomerate discharging chute by fluidizing the grains.
