To provide a method and apparatus for displaying the input window of the touch panel of an injection molding machine which preferentially displays a step switch type key window when setting is preferably changed by the step switch type key window which is reduced in setting mistakes even when a ten key type key window is selected according to setting items or the operating situation of a molding machine.
It is determined whether a numeric value input item is touched or not (SA100). When a touch operation is carried out, it is determined whether a machine is operated or not (SA101). When the machine is operated, it is determined whether the preferential display of the step switch type key window is effective or not (SA102). When the preferential display is effective, the step switch type key window is displayed, and processing is finished (SA103). When the machine is not operated, and when the preferential display is not effective, a selected input window is displayed (SA104), and the processing is finished.
