PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily dispose waste foamed polystyrene by a method wherein an oil tank is formed at the upper part and a water tank is formed at the lower part of the apparatus concerned and foamed polystyrene is charged in a heated oil tank so as to be formed in lumps and discharged.
CONSTITUTION: An oil tank 1 is formed at the upper part and a water tank 2 is formed at the lower part of the apparatus concerned. When oil is placed in the water tank 2, due to the difference between the specific gravities of water and of oil, the oil is stored at the upper part, resulting in forming the oil tank 1 spontaneously. The interior of the oil tank 1 is heated by fuel 4 such as gas propane or the like, which passes through heating tubes 3 attached to the oil tank 1. Further, cooling tubes 5, which are apart from the heating tubes by a certain interval, are piercingly attached in order to cool by air. The heating tubes 3 and the cooling tubes 5 are connected to a chimney 6 for suction. Furthermore, a net 7 is attached under tension to front and rear pulleys 8 and 9 in the oil tank 1 so as to take lumps, into which foamed polystyrene charged in the oil tank 1 is turned by heated oil, out of the apparatus concerned.
