Abstract:

PURPOSE: To realize drying causing no cracking of grain by drying the grain circulating being fluidized along a drying air path by far infrared radiation heat radiated from a far infrared rays generator and hot air obtained by heat exchange with the far infrared rays generator.
CONSTITUTION: In the main body 2 of a drying machine presenting a form of a cylinder slender laterally, a storage chamber 3 for storing grain, a far infrared rays generation chamber 4 to generate a heat source for drying grain and a takeoff chamber 5 for taking out the grain after drying are arranged sequentially. An infrared rays generator 11 is housed in the infrared rays generation chamber 4 to radiate a combustion heat air as radiation source along the length thereof and porous walls 9 and 11 are arranged apart on both left and right sides of the infrared rays generation chamber 4. Left and right drying paths 15 and 15 are so arranged as to let a hot air pass therethrough with the action of an air suction/discharging device. The upper end sides of the respective drying paths 15 are connected to the storage chamber 3 and the lower end sides thereof to the takeoff chamber 5 and the grain in the takeoff chamber 5 is circulated being fluidized through carry-out screw 19, an elevator and the like.
