Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the evaluating method and the evaluating apparatus which can evaluate the leakage of the electrolyte of a battery in a short time.
CONSTITUTION: A battery is placed in a high temperature tank 1. The high temperature tank 1 is operated with the control command from a control device 3. At the same time, the pressure in the high temperature tank 1 is reduced to the pressure lower than the inner pressure of the battery by a pressure reducing device 2 with the control command from the control device 3. Thus, the leakage of the electrolyte is accelerated by the pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the battery. As a result, the leakage of the electrolyte can be evaluated in a short time.
