PURPOSE: To improve the production efficiency by inserting wire rods into through holes of a plurality of material supporters provided in the shape of a honeycomb and extruding them at a specified straining rate through desired extruding bars.
CONSTITUTION: In a container element 16, the axial section shows a regular hexagon and a through hole 18 which opens on the upper and lower end faces is formed in the central part along the axial line. When a heating element 14 is heated by a high frequency heating coil, the container element 16 is heated by the radiation heat from the element 14, the conductive heat from a container holder 17 and the heat conduction between the elements 16 uniformly into a hot processing temperature. The wire rods is inserted into the through hole 18 of the container element 16 fitted in the shape of a honeycomb, held at the hot processing temperature and extruded by a die and an extruding rod fitted at both ends of the through hole 18 at a straining rate 0.01W0.1/sec. In this manner, a plurality of wire rods can be extruded simultaneously to upgrade a production efficiency.
