Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for feeding a food material, which can prevent the repeated change of a pressure added to the food material in an exit side passage, when the food material is continuously feed into the exit side passage with a vane pump as a means for feeding the food material such as the dough or bean jam of buns.
SOLUTION: In this means for feeding the food material, equipped with the vane pump for feeding the food material into the exit side passage and with a driving member for controlling the driving of the vane pump, the change in the rotation rate of the vane pump is periodically controlled to supplement the lowering of pressure added to the food material in the exit side passage, thus preventing the change in the pressure. In addition, the pulsation of a bar-like food dough continuously extruded from an extrusion nozzle communicating with the exit side passage is inhibited, and the irregularity of the weights of the divided foods obtained by cutting the bar-like food dough with a cutter is controlled.
