PURPOSE: To utilize the pressure of waste water, effectively, by using the pressure energy of the crude gas scrubbing water as the pressure medium for pessing and transferring the raw material slurry.
CONSTITUTION: The raw material slurry composed of water and coal is heated and evaporated in the evaporator 6 blasted through the burner 2 into the gasification furnace 1 in the form of a binary phase system of coal and steam, gasified by the reaction with oxygen, and discharged from the outelt tube as crude gas. The crude gas is introduced into the evaporator 6 to transfer a part of the sensible heat to the raw material slurry, introduced through the heat exchanger 7 to the scrubbing tower, scrubbed with spray from the spary nozzle 11, and sent to the gas refining system through the outlet tube 12. The scrubbing water collected at the bottom of the tower 8 is stored in the tank 9, and fed to the space above the float 16 in the feeding chamber 15 through the pressure pump 14 and the valve 19. The raw material slurry under the float 16 is pressurized with the changed water, and transferred under pressure through the valve 18 to the gasification furnace 1.
