Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for surely separating flat objects one by one from a stack of the flat objects.
A transfer device for transferring a separated flat object is constituted as a transfer slide 15 having a flat center region 16 parallel to a transfer direction and lateral regions, wherein at least one of the lateral regions 17 is inclined downward, and at least one opening 14 which can be connected to a negative pressure generator is provided on the lateral region 17 which is inclined downward. Before a flat object 10 at the lowermost is completely pulled out from a stack of flat objects, at least one end region in parallel to a pull-out direction is first separated by suction from a remaining portion of the stack 11.
