To provide a method and an apparatus for formation of a strip component capable of preventing adhesion between the components reliably without use of an adhesion preventive sheet.

Both surfaces of a strip component BM3 in the thickness direction are processed to be rough and adhered with an adhesion preventive agent PW. The adhesion preventive agent remains in two or more concave parts P1 formed by the rough surface processing, and parts other than convex parts P2 in the rough-surface-processed surface becomes harder to touch the outside matter to. When the strip components BM3 come in contact with each other, therefore, the adhesion preventive agent PW remaining in the individual concave parts P1 between the strip components BM3 are arranged reliably for the prevention of adhesion, and the area of direct contact between the strip components BM3 becomes smaller. The processing method thus enables reliable prevention of mutual adhesion of strip components BM3 without use of an adhesion preventive sheet and is very advantageous in an attempt of improving the production efficiency.
