To reduce a crystallization risk while suppressing an influence on filling factor of a molten metal material.
A method for forming an amorphous alloy in which the molten metal material of a molten amorphous alloy material is introduced into a mold, includes: a prior cooling determining step S20 for determining whether or not prior cooling of the mold is required before the molten metal material is introduced; and a prior cooling step S30 for performing prior cooling when the prior cooling is determined to be required in the prior cooling determining step. The prior cooling determining step comprises: a crystallization region calculating process for acquiring Tnose including information on shortest crystallization time of the amorphous alloy material and crystallization temperature in the shortest crystallization time; a thermal equilibrium point predicting process for predicting thermal equilibrium temperature in the thermal equilibrium point where the mold and the molten metal material introduced in the mold reach a thermal equilibrium state, and time reaching the thermal equilibrium point after the introduction of the molten metal material, based on information on the mold and information on the molten metal material; and a determining process for determining whether or not the prior cooling is required based on a positional relationship of the thermal equilibrium point and Tnose.
