Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for forming an image forming device including an electrophotographic method copying machine and a printer, specially, an organic optical conductor belt.
SOLUTION: The belt forming apparatus includes a station 200. The station 200 includes a first invertible gripping part 212, a second invertible gripping part 214, and a welder 216 having a nib 250 placed relative to the first invertible gripping part 212 and the second invertible gripping part 214. Moreover, the first invertible gripping part 212 and the second invertible gripping part 214 are adapted to wrap a web segment 102 to form a lap joint that is disposed adjacent to the nib 250 of the welding unit 216 .
