To provide a method for forming droplets having little dispersion at a rapid forming rate by which the control of particle diameter is easily carried out; and to provide an apparatus therefor.

The method for forming the droplets comprises flowing fluid in two or more passages 32 radially extended from one point so that a continuous phase may form a laminar flow, and ejecting a dispersed phase from an opening part 26 contacting with each of the passages to form the droplets composed of the dispersed phase. The apparatus for forming the droplets has the two or more passages radially formed from the center point on a plane, and the opening parts 26 having the same diameter and formed in each of the passages 32 at the same distance from the center point.
