Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate nonuniformity of images caused by an irregular heat conduction which is a demerit of a separation transfer system, and light fastness and bleeding as demerits of an ink-jet system.
SOLUTION: Liquid drops including an adhesive body set with heat or ultraviolet rays are discharged like an image to either of a transfer body 5 and an image-receiving body 11, thereby forming a latent image. The transfer body 5 and image-receiving body 11 are brought in tight contact with each other via the latent image. Heat or ultraviolet rays are applied to set the adhesive body. A transfer material formed at the transfer body 5 is fixed to the image- forming body 11 like an image via the set adhesive body. Only the fixed transfer material is transferred to the image-receiving body 11 by separating the transfer body 5 and image-receiving body 11, whereby an image is formed.
