Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for forming X-ray images of a focus region of an impulse generator to reduce a radiation dose load on a patient.
In a method and an apparatus to form x-ray images of the focus region (8) of a lithotriptor (1) using X-rays that passes through the focus region (8) and device parts of the lithotriptor (1), in order to control the dose of the X-rays, only image regions (36, 42) of an image field (32) exposed by the X-rays, that lies outside a shadow area (30) shadowed by these device parts of the lithotriptor (1), is evaluated.
