To accelerate carbonization by a method in which ultrahigh temperature water is purified by joining/mixing a Brown's gas flame (the flame of a mixed gas comprising hydrogen atoms and oxygen atoms produced by electrolyzing water) and city water (water) heated in a furnace together in a high temperature steam purification part (a ceramic cylinder for radiating near infrared rays) and made to collide directly with waste in the furnace and to prevent the generation of dioxins by eliminating conditions for generating harmful substances by introducing no outside air.
A completely closed system is adopted for a Brown's gas generation apparatus (commercially available), for the heated city water, the small round ceramic cylinder for radiating near infrared rays to produce the ultrahigh temperature water, and for a furnace body which is a round cylinder type furnace, excluding for a steam recovery opening. The waste is carbonized by the ultrahigh temperature water. In a carbonization method and a carbonization apparatus, when the pressure of steam in the furnace is 2 atm. or above, the steam recovery opening is opened automatically, and the steam is led to a recovery tank by a hose to be recovered.
