Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce a flow rate without lowering a pressure of operating fluid, to eliminate a decrease in a flowing speed and to maintain a high generating efficiency when an output of a generator is reduced corresponding to a variation in a power demand by providing an operating fluid measuring system at an inlet of the generator and a driver for optimally regulating an opening angle of an ultrasonic speed nozzle to be cooperated with the system.

CONSTITUTION: When a flow rate is reduced to cope with a decrease in power demand, a gap between sidewalls 10a and 10b is increased by an ultrasonic speed nozzle opening angle regulator 15 while a pressure of operating fluid 1 to be supplied to a passage inlet 9a is maintained at a predetermined level. Accordingly, the sidewall 10a is inclined from a movable unit 16, the angle is increased to aid accelerating performance, and the flowing speed of the fluid 1 in a passage 9 is held at a predetermined level. If the power demand is recovered to increase the flow rate of the fluid 1, the gap is reversely increased. A measuring system 17 for a temperature, a pressure, a flowing speed of the fluid 1 is mounted at the inlet 9a, its output is fed back to a driving system 18 of the regulator 15 to be automatically controlled.
