Abstract:

To eliminate the need for an additional grinder and an appropriate mounting/dismounting step in grinding a tooth flank of the round type shaving cutter with a grinder for the round type shaving cutter.

The method to make a tip diameter of the machined round type shaving cutter be a required dimension with a grinding wheel of the grinder for the round type shaving cutter is provided in grinding the tooth flank of the round type shaving cutter using the grinder for the round type shaving cutter. In detail, the grinding wheel is positioned to the grinder for the round type shaving cutter so that the working range of the grinding wheel to grinding the tooth flank of the round type shaving cutter can be tangentially engaged with the tooth top of the machined round type shaving cutter.
