Title:
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HOLDING ADDRESS LABEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3307763
Kind Code:
B
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To hold an address label inexpensively and satisfactorily without contaminating a bundle to be delivered by charging the address label with static electricity when the label is mounted on the bundle to be delivered with sorted bundles stacked and the label is held until it is packed together with the bundle to be delivered.
CONSTITUTION: A destination data printing and transferring device 50 is placed above a carrying conveyer 61 adjacently to a specific counting and stacking device. The device 50 prints specific data on a printing sheet for making an address label which is a print concurrently to making a sorted bundle by the counting and stacking device. Then the address label is transferred onto a bundle to be delivered wherein a plurality of sorted bundles are stacked. In this case, photoelectric tubes 62 for sensing whether or not the bundle to be delivered exists are placed on both sides of the conveyer 61. On the other hand, at a lower part opposite to the photoelectric tubes 62 across the conveyer 61, a high DC voltage generator 71 is placed. Thus static electricity is charged to the address label so that the label is sucked to the bundle to be delivered for preventing the label from dropping.
