Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure the reliability of distinguishing patients by inputting print distinguishing characteristics of a patient and print distinguishing characteristics for a person on whom treatment is applied according to schedule and confirming the relations between the print distinguishing characteristics input from the patient and the print distinguishing characteristics input from the person. CONSTITUTION: A print data assembly body 10 stored in a computer of a hospital electronically has a raw print scanner 20, a print data analysis and controller 30, and a label printer 40 which prepares a label which includes a fingerprint of a patient and other data by digital format arbitrarily. A label 50 of a sample of the patient has adhesive in one part on one side and a bar code region 60 which can be read by machine and an image region 70 of the fingerprint on a front face 54 which is the other side. It is formed by a flexible basic part 52. For example, a fingerprint of a mother who is going to give birth to a baby is input in a record system of the hospital. When she enters any delivery room, a label having her print is prepared in a print region 72. Print of pattern of the heel of a new-born infant is fixed in a second print region 74 in the delivery room.
