Abstract:

To provide an apparatus which supports the rescue staffs when the chest compression is conducted for the victims in the CPR.

The apparatus is provided with: A pad or other components which are so arranged as to be stuck on the chest at the position where the rescuing staff applies the forces for the chest compression or near it; at least one sensor connected to the pad which detects the motion of the chest or the forces applied on the chest; a processing circuit which processes the outputs of the sensor to judge whether the chest is released sufficiently or not after the chest compression made by the rescue staff and at least one element for presenting instructions which is connected to the processing circuit and presents the rescue staff with the information on how sufficiently the chest is released after the chest compression.
