Abstract:
To provide a method and apparatus for improving initialization of sidelink duplicate reception in a wireless communication system.SOLUTION: User equipment (UE) receives a first PDCP protocol data unit (PDU) on a logical channel associated with a side link radio bearer (SLRB). The UE initializes a first state variable on the basis of a partial Reordering_Window and a sequence number (SN) of the received first PDCP PDU, and the first state variable indicates the PDCP SN of the last PDCP service data unit (SDU) passed to the upper layer by a PDCP entity created for SLRB, and the partial Reordering_Window is smaller than the Reordering_Window. The UE performs a reordering procedure on the first PDCP PDU using the first state variable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
