Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately inspect a sealed state of a cap which acquires sealability by an inner ring section.
SOLUTION: This concerns sealability inspection of the cap 1 having the inner ring section 3 which is fitted on the mouth section of a bottle 10 after being fitted with a content liquid, and adheres closely to the internal perimeter of the mouth section 5 of the bottle, to achieve a sealed state. The bottle 10 fitted with the cap 1 is cut at its neck 11 and from the open end by the cutting an inspecting ultrasonic sensor 13 is inserted into the mouth section, and is directed to an inspection position 8 of a sealed part achieved by the inner ring section 3. By causing this ultrasonic sensor 13 to scan circumferentially and obtaining an echo image of the sealed part 8, its sealability is inspected.
