Abstract:
To facilitate collection of information on vehicle events from one or more revenue control systems (102 and 104).
A vehicle event may occur when a vehicle enters a parking facility, a vehicle exits a parking facility, a parking fee is collected in a parking facility and an alarm is generated in a parking facility, etc. Revenue control systems may be located in single parking facility or multiple parking facilities. Different revenue control systems may use different hardware/software combinations, provide data in different formats, etc. Vehicle event information can be collected from different revenue control systems in different formats, and revenue information can be created in a consistent format based on the vehicle event information.
