To provide a method and an apparatus, with which in the method of jointing a mold 1 composed of two half-molds 11, 12 and casting into this mold, firstly the half-molds 11, 12 are molded and further, these half-molds are jointed as the mold 1 and successively, a method for casting into this mold 1 is improved so as to be sufficient with small cooling body, particularly have the temperature so as not to exceed the maximum temperature.

When the half-molds 11, 12 are molded, in at least one side of the half-molds 11, 12, at least one of an opening part 15 reaching into the casting cavity is arranged, and just before casting, the cooling body 2 is inserted into each opening part 15 in the mold 1. Thus, the closed casting cavity is formed, and after pouring a cast product 4 and solidifying, particularly the cooling body 2 is removed from the opening part 15 before further carrying the mold 1.
