PURPOSE: To knit a reinforcing bar basket without twisting it and accurately by rotating the barrel ring of a reinforcing bar basket machine body and the chuck part of a chuck truck synchronously, winding a hoop reinforcing bar spirally on the external periphery of the main reinforcing bars and welding them.
CONSTITUTION: When the starting point of the hoop bar 7 passes a press-contacted part a little, voltage is applied to a rotary electrode 8 and a fixed electrode 36, then, the end part of the hoop bar 7 is welded to the main bars 2 leaving the bent part. When the chuck truck is moved and retreated as the chuck part is rotated, the welded part between the hoop bar 7 and the main bar 2 is positioned in front of the rotary electrode under a bending device 13. When a lift 60 is lowered, a clamping click 11 clamps the main bar 2 and the locking groove of the bent click 12 clamps the hoop bar 7. When a bending cylinder 65 is driven and stretched, the hoop bar 7 is bent to the inside of the periphery where the main bars 2 are arranged. When the main bars 2 are rotated and drawn in a chucked state and the chuck base is retreated, the hoop bar 7 is wound spirally on the external periphery of the plural main bars 2 and the crossed parts are welded.
