Abstract:

PURPOSE: To continuously manufacture and to improve mass production efficiency by feeding a porous stereoscopic woven fabric under tension in synchronization with waving in each weaving cycle while weaving the fabric, and impregnating and solidifying the fabric with matrix in a tensile state.

CONSTITUTION: Control means 7 composed of a microcomputer controls to feed porous stereoscopic woven fabric A sequentially woven by a waving machine 1 by means of tension at each one waving seam in synchronization with weaving in each weaving cycle by operating a tensile feeder 4. The starting ends of fiber bundles Z, X, Y are coupled to one end of a long jig 8, the machine 1 is operated to feed the fabric sequentially woven whole weaving the fabric A through the jig 8 by the feeder 4 to a weaving cycle, the woven bundles Z, X, Y of the fabric A held in its shape in a tensile state are impregnated and solidified with matrix B in a tunnel type impregnating and solidifying unit 5 to form a porous stereoscopic structure C.
