Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a degradation in characteristic of phosphors, etc., caused by remaining hydro carbon which is generated when baking a green sheet for forming a dielectrics layer that covers an electrode on a baseboard, in a process for manufacturing a baseboard structure for a plasma display panel.
SOLUTION: When baking the base plate on which the green sheet for the dielectrics layer is pasted, the atmosphere containing steam is guided into a baking oven in at least a part of or the entire heating process for the base plate. Thus, failure of the dielectrics layer or secular degradation in the phosphor characteristics is affected by the hydro carbon generated when a binder resin contained in the green sheet is baked.
