Abstract:

To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a catalyst for a car, each of which is suitable for obtaining a uniform coated layer.

The method for manufacturing the catalyst for the car comprises a drying step of drying a carrier 1, to the wall surface of whose cell 2 catalyst component-containing catalyst slurry is stuck by a coating method, while rotating the carrier to make uniform the film thickness of the catalyst slurry stuck to the wall surface of the cell 2.
