Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for manufacturing a ceramic molding capable of smoothly molding by suppressing a molding fault even in the case of the ceramic molding having a difficulty in molding.
SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the ceramic molding 8 of a desired shape comprises the step of extruding a ceramic material 80 fed under pressure to a resistant tube 3 from a mold 4 from an extruder 10 by using the apparatus 1 for manufacturing the molding comprising a screw type extruder 10 and the mold 4 connected to an end of the extruder 10 via the tube 3. The method further comprises the steps of heating or cooling the material 80 fed under pressure to the tube 3 from the extruder 10 from a periphery of the tube 3, thereby controlling the shape of the molding 8 extruded from the mold 3.
